Art Journal

Thank you all for the lovely welcomes I've received on my return to the world of blogging.

When I was packing and unpacking my craft studio, I couldn't believe the amount of stuff I had collected, and I mean collected - most of it was new and still in the packet.

I was quite embarrassed by it actually, but I promised myself that I would make a real effort to open up the packet and USE all the lovely bits  and pieces I have collected.

So, today I didn't make a card today. Today I have started an art journal. I'll use it to try out new techniques etc.

It was lovely to get my hand all messy again.

I used a Maya Road chipboard book - I had collected 3 of them. A sheet of handmade paper - I have quite a stash of them. Vintage style papers that I have had for more years than I care to remember. Boss Cut die that was still in the pack. Alphabet brads. Kandi Kane with gems.

All 'new'.  So the covers are done, just have
to plan the next page.

Thanks for looking :)

  1. Oooh I love the way you've carried on from the front right round the cover. The face with the writing on is super and really fits with the journaling theme of the book. Look forward to seeing some of the pages in time.

  2. Oh Lynne, it's just beautiful - I love seeing these art journals that people are doing. I'm sure I'd just manage to make a mess though!
